Yes, for most visitors to Bourges: it is quiet, central, spotless according to guests, has free parking and cost less than the city median. Skip it only if a generous breakfast room matters a lot to you, since some guests found it cramped and basic.

Couples, families and road-trippers will get the most out of it. Guests describe a central yet quiet setting within walking distance of the old town and the cathedral. Free parking and family rooms are listed, and pets are accepted, which makes it practical if you arrive by car with children or a dog.
If breakfast is a highlight of your trip, temper expectations. Some guests find the buffet variety basic and the dining area cramped, even if the quantity is generous.

Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Bourges. Best Value means the best balance of guest score, review volume and reference price, not simply the cheapest. A score of 8.6 from more than 1,500 reviews at a below-median price made this the clearest balance in the group.
