Parkhotel Bremen – ein Mitglied der Hommage Luxury Hotels Collection
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want a quiet 5-star hotel set in a park, with a spa and a strong breakfast, and you do not mind a walk of over 20 minutes into the old town. Travellers watching every euro should note it costs about twice the city median, and some guests mention dated facilities and extra costs.

Couples and families who want calm surroundings will get the most from this hotel. Its full name is Parkhotel Bremen – ein Mitglied der Hommage Luxury Hotels Collection, and it holds an official 5-star rating. Guests give it 8.8 out of 10 across 3,336 reviews, with a location score of 9.4. Family rooms are listed, and pets are accepted according to the listing.
If you want to step straight out into the old town, this is not that kind of base. The main sights are around 23 to 24 minutes away on foot. Budget travellers may find better value in our other two Bremen picks.
Location and getting around
The address is Im Bürgerpark, in the Schwachhausen district. Guests describe a quiet setting in a park by a lake, within walking distance of the town centre.
Bremen Cathedral and the Bremer Marktplatz are each about 1.8 km away, roughly 23 minutes on foot. Kunsthalle Bremen is about 1.9 km, around 24 minutes. These times are straight-line estimates, so the real walk can be longer. If walking that far is not for you, plan on public transport or a taxi for evenings out.
What guests say
Two things stand out in reviews. The setting is one: guests like the park and the lake, and the sense of quiet. Breakfast is the other, an extensive buffet with fresh local products served in a bright winter garden.
Not everyone is convinced on value. Room rates seem reasonable to many, but dated facilities and extra charges disappoint some guests. Which extras are charged is not detailed in our data.
Price compared with our other two picks
For a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, we saw a reference price of €194.65 per night. The sample median was €99.01, so this is roughly double the typical rate in our sample. It is a reference price, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Garner Hotel Bremen City by IHG, our Budget pick, was €75.70 per night, with a score of 8.2 and 4 stars. STAYERY Bremen Altstadt - alle Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, our Best Value pick, was €94.22 per night with a score of 8.8 and 4 stars. That means the Best Value pick matches this hotel's guest score for less than half the price. What you pay extra for here is the fifth star, the park setting and the facilities.
Those listed facilities are a gym, spa, pool, restaurant, garden, terrace, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Breakfast choices include continental, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, American and buffet. Whether breakfast is in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
Six eligible hotels in Bremen were compared. This one shared the top review score and is officially rated 5 stars, which our Luxury category prioritises. A base of 3,336 reviews also makes the score more reliable than most.
