By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
It is worth booking if you arrive by train and want a four-star base for under €100 a night in our reference check. If a fresh, modern room matters more than price, our Best Value pick scored much higher for about €30 more.

This is our Budget pick for Colmar. It has four official stars and a guest score of 8.0 out of 10 from 3,286 reviews.
It suits rail travellers and anyone who wants a practical base with easy connections. Pets are tagged as allowed.
Skip it if you want the best-rated stay in town. It ranked ninth of the 9 hotels we compared on guest score, and some guests say the facilities feel dated.
Location and getting around
The address is 7 place de La Gare. Guests say it sits directly opposite the railway station, with bus connections nearby. The location score is 8.7 out of 10.
Straight-line walking estimates: Musée Bartholdi about 11 minutes (0.9 km), and the Unterlinden Museum and St Martin's Church about 13 minutes each (1.0 km). These are rough estimates, not measured routes.
The historic old town is walkable, so you will not need transport for the main sights.
What guests say
Reviewers value the location as a convenient base within walking distance of the old town and the centre.
The station position is the other plus: it is right across the road, and buses run nearby.
Value is the mixed point. Some find the price reasonable, while others feel the dated facilities do not justify it. Room size and noise have not been assessed by us.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults were about €99.30 a night, roughly €199 in total. The sample median was €122.50, so it was 19% below. These are not live quotes; check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, Colmar Hotel (3 stars, 9.1), was about €129.70 a night. Our Luxury pick, L'Esquisse Hotel & Spa Colmar - MGallery Collection (5 stars, 9.2), was about €281.95. This hotel saves you money and puts you by the station, but its score is clearly lower.
Listed facilities are a restaurant, a terrace, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is continental or buffet; whether it is in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 9 eligible hotels in Colmar. For the Budget slot we take the lowest eligible reference price after setting aside the upscale pick. This hotel came in lowest, with four stars and a large number of reviews.
Its score is the lowest of the sample, which is the honest trade-off for the price.
Before you book
