Home2 Suites Bakersfield
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Home2 Suites Bakersfield is worth booking if you want the highest guest score in our Bakersfield sample, spotless rooms and a well-liked breakfast. Be aware it cost more than our Luxury pick for the reference dates, so it suits travellers who rank cleanliness and reviews above price or a central address.

This is our Best Value pick in Bakersfield. It has 3 stars and a guest score of 9.0 out of 10 from 400 reviews. That placed it joint 1st of the 10 properties we compared.
It suits drivers, longer stays and anyone who cares most about a clean room and a decent breakfast. The property lists a gym, a pool, free parking, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and it is tagged as pet-friendly.
Skip it if you want to be close to downtown on foot, or if price is your first filter. For our reference dates it was the most expensive of our three Bakersfield picks.
Location and getting around
The address is 8227 Brimhall Road. The location score is 8.9, which suggests guests are happy with the area for their needs.
Benton Park is 6.3 km away, about 79 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. That is far. You will need a car, a taxi or public transport for most trips.
Free parking is listed, which matters here. Confirm that it is still free when you book.
What guests say
Cleanliness stands out. Guests describe the rooms as consistently spotless, fresh and well maintained.
Breakfast is the other highlight. Reviews mention a good variety of warm options and a clean dining area. The listed styles are American and Buffet.
Value is where opinions split. Some guests find the rates reasonable. Others think the cost is high, which matches what we saw against the other two picks.
Price and value against our other two picks
Our reference price was €149.56 a night, about €299 for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room. This is not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.
The Bakersfield sample median was €114.76 a night, so this hotel sat about 30% above the typical rate.
Our Budget pick, Best Western Plus Hill House, was €98.88 a night with an 8.2 score. Our Luxury pick, Padre Hotel, was €140.62 with 4 stars and an 8.8 score. So on these dates Home2 Suites cost about €9 a night more than the 4-star option. What you get for that is the top score in the sample, a pool, free parking and strong breakfast reviews.
If those dates repeat for you, compare all three on the day. Our Best Value label weighs score, review count and price together. It does not mean the cheapest.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 10 eligible properties in Bakersfield. Home2 Suites shared the top guest score, backed by 400 reviews, and that carried it into the Best Value slot.
A breakfast guests like, consistent cleanliness and a location score of 8.9 support the choice.
Before you book
Check the current price, since ours comes from a November 2026 search and the gap with the other picks can change. Confirm breakfast is included in your rate, as we have not verified that.
Ask about pool hours, parking terms and any pet fee. Room size, noise and cancellation terms have not been assessed, so read the rate rules and recent reviews.
