Homewood Suites by Hilton Omaha - Downtown
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Worth booking for most Omaha trips, especially for families and anyone heading to downtown events or a ball game. Drivers should be ready for a crowded car park, and anyone set on the zoo should budget for a ride.

This is our Best Value pick for Omaha. It suits families, since family rooms are listed, and fans going to events or the baseball field downtown. Breakfast gets good reviews, which helps keep daily costs down if it is in your rate. The listing also carries a pets tag; check the policy and fees.
Skip it if easy parking is essential. Guests say spaces are limited, often full or taken by large trucks, and the surface is dirty. If you want a more upscale stay, our Luxury pick is the better fit.
Location and getting around
The address is 1314 Cuming Street. Guests describe a central downtown spot within walking distance of events and the baseball field, and the location score is 9.2 out of 10.
The Joslyn Art Museum is about 1.4 km away, an estimated 18-minute walk. St. Cecilia Cathedral is 3.3 km (around 41 minutes) and Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is 4.8 km (around 60 minutes). Both are far on foot, so plan on public transport or a taxi. Walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified.
