This is our Luxury pick for Omaha. It suits couples and short city-break visitors who want a downtown address, a restaurant, a gym and a social bar downstairs. Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning are listed, and our data tags it as pet-friendly, though the pet policy needs confirming.
It is a four-star hotel, not a five-star one. Travellers expecting a spa or pool should note that neither is on the facility list. Families wanting a separate family room should also check, as none is listed.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 203 S 18th St. in Downtown Omaha, and guests rate the location 8.9 out of 10. The Joslyn Art Museum is about 0.6 km away, roughly 8 minutes on foot.
Other sights take more effort. St. Cecilia Cathedral (Omaha) is about 2.9 km, around 36 minutes on foot, and Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is about 3.9 km, around 49 minutes. Both are far enough that a taxi or public transport is the sensible option. These are straight-line estimates. Parking is not on the facility list, so check the cost if you drive.
What guests say
The hotel scores 8.8 out of 10 from 107 guest reviews and shares 2nd place among the 10 eligible properties in our sample. Guests often mention the team: the front desk staff and doormen come across as friendly, welcoming and helpful. The lobby bar also gets praise for its fun, lively atmosphere and excellent service.
On the downside, while many find the rates competitive, some guests report billing errors and unexpected charges. Check your bill at checkout and confirm any deposit or fees in advance.
Price and how it compares with our other Omaha picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults put the hotel at €166.99 a night, about €334 for both nights. The sample median was €130.77, so you pay a premium. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Doubletree By Hilton Omaha Southwest, Ne, was €92.92 a night with an 8.1 score. Our Best Value pick, Homewood Suites by Hilton Omaha - Downtown, was €121 with an 8.9 score and three stars. The extra money here buys the fourth star, the bar and the lobby experience guests describe. An American breakfast is offered, but whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 10 eligible hotels in Omaha. Five-star hotels get priority for the Luxury slot, and a four-star hotel can fill it only with a score of at least 8.5. This official four-star hotel cleared that bar with 8.8 from over a hundred reviews.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Ask about parking costs, check whether breakfast is in your rate, confirm the pet policy if needed, and keep an eye on charges given the billing complaints. Rooms near the lively bar may be noisier, so ask if that matters to you.
