This is our Luxury pick for Graz. It is a four-star hotel that took the slot under our high-score fallback rule. It suits couples and travellers who want leisure facilities and a short walk to the old town and the city park. The hotel is tagged as pet-friendly; confirm the conditions before booking.
Family rooms are not listed here, so families should check room options carefully. If you mostly want a cheap bed in a good spot, our Budget pick costs far less.
Location and getting around
The address is Leonhardstraße 8, in St. Leonhard. Location is rated 9.4 out of 10. Guests mention a short walk to the old town and the city park, and tram stops nearby.
Graz Cathedral is about 0.5 km away, roughly 6 minutes on foot. Eggenberg Palace is about 4.4 km, around 55 minutes, and Mariatrost Basilica about 5.1 km, over an hour. Both are far on foot, so plan on public transport or a taxi. Walking times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
The guest score is 8.9 out of 10 from 1,368 reviews. Breakfast is a highlight: a large buffet with fresh juices and egg dishes cooked to order. The location near the old town and park is also popular.
The complaint that comes up is cost on top of the room. Guests find the room rates reasonable but consider the fees for breakfast and parking high. In other words, breakfast is good but may not be included, so check your rate.
