Couples and families who want a central five-star hotel with a strong breakfast are the clear match. Guests point to the location near the canal promenade, restaurants and the concert hall. The property lists a gym, a restaurant, free parking and family rooms, and pets are tagged in the listing data.
Skip it if price per point of guest score is what you track. At €117 a night it costs far more than the sample median of €64, while our Budget and Best Value picks cost €50 and €70 with higher scores.
Location and getting around
The address is Vecā Ostmala 40. Guests rate the location 9.7 out of 10. Walking times are straight-line estimates, so real routes may be a little longer.
Holy Trinity Cathedral is about 0.3 km away, roughly 4 minutes on foot, and St. Joseph Cathedral about 0.8 km, around 10 minutes. St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral in Karosta is about 4.5 km away, an estimated 56 minutes, which is far. Plan on public transport, a taxi or a car for that one. Free parking is listed if you drive.
What guests say
The score is 9.1 out of 10 from 2,161 reviews, joint 3rd of 5 eligible properties in the sample. In a city where all three of our picks score above 9, that is strong but not top.
Breakfast earns the warmest comments: a tasty buffet with a wide choice, including salmon and prosecco. Location is the other big plus, close to the canal promenade, restaurants and the concert hall.
The restaurant draws mixed feedback. Guests like the stylish setting and the food, but say service can be slow and chaotic. Allow extra time if you plan to dine in.
Price compared with our other Liepāja picks
