This is our Best Value pick for Liepaja. It fits people who want a calm street, a good breakfast and short walks to the park, the beach and the centre.
Drivers benefit from free parking, and families from the listed family rooms. Air conditioning, a garden and a restaurant on site are also listed.
If you would rather cook for yourself or simply pay less, Roze Kurmajas Apartments, our Budget pick, scores almost as high at 9.3. If you want a 5-star hotel, Promenade Hotel Liepaja is the Luxury choice.
Location and getting around
Roze sits at Rožu iela 37. Guests describe a quiet neighbourhood close to the park, the beach and the city centre. Its location score of 9.8 out of 10 is very high.
St. Joseph Cathedral is about 0.5 km away, roughly a 6-minute walk. Holy Trinity Cathedral is 1.1 km, about 14 minutes on foot.
St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral in Karosta is a different matter. At 5.5 km, around 69 minutes on foot, it is far, so plan on public transport or a taxi. All walking times here are straight-line estimates and have not been verified.
What guests say
Roze scores 9.4 from 744 reviews, which put it in first place on guest feedback among the hotels we compared.
Praise centres on two things: the quiet location near green space and the sea, and a tasty buffet breakfast with a wide choice of fresh food.
The main criticism concerns the restaurant. Guests like the food and the garden setting, but some find the prices high. Budget for that, or eat out in town.
Price and how it compares
We saw €70 per night, about €140 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov) for 2 adults in one room. They are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
The sample median was €64, so Roze is slightly above it. Roze Kurmajas Apartments, the Budget pick, came in at €50 a night with a 9.3 score. Promenade Hotel Liepaja, a 5-star Luxury pick, was €117 a night with 9.1.
For €20 more than the Budget option, you get a hotel with a restaurant and breakfast buffet. For €47 less than the Luxury pick, you get a higher guest score.
